Pickerings of Hull 2 – Pickerings of Yorkshire

It is not known where the first John of this family came from; his marriage entry gives no further details than the fact that he and his bride were single at the time. He died before the census of 1851, which would have provided his parish of origin. Only a DNA test will reveal where this family fits into the Pickering story.
